1,700 pigs were burned alive in France near the commune of Corsay

Almost 1,700 pigs were burned alive in a farm fire in north-west France. Another 700 animals were saved.

The farm, located near the commune of Corsay, caught fire on the night of August 1. One of the buildings, which contained the pigs, was completely burnt, while the second – partially, reports France Bleu.
It took several hours to extinguish. Police are finding out the details of what happened.

About 500 pigs were saved. The fire was extinguished by 34 people and 10 vehicles.
