$3 million worth of Nazi memorabilia found in Rio de Janeiro resident’s home

One charge was suspected, but new charges were added after the search. Police found an unusual hoarding in the home of a Rio de Janeiro resident. The 58-year-old man came in for child abuse. During the inspection of the home they found a whole museum of the Third Reich.

Uniforms, awards, household items and even newspapers of the late 1930s. Among the items found was a ticket of a member of the Nazi Party. In the old form of the man made his personal data and pasted a photo. In addition to “peaceful” things the owner kept and a whole arsenal of weapons.

In total, the house was counted more than 1 thousand historical items. The collection, according to the owner, is worth at least $3 million. To the charges the man was added illegal possession of weapons and racial discrimination.
