A seven-year-old girl was killed in a street shooting in the U.S. city of Chicago: the car in which she was riding was shot by an unknown assailant. It is reported by the Chicago Tribune, citing the police.
The incident occurred on April 18 at the entrance to the order window of a fast-food restaurant McDonalds. At the wheel of the car, where 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams was sitting, was a 29-year-old man, according to some reports, who is her father. The unidentified man shot and killed the car, firing at least 38 bullets.
Both victims were taken to the hospital, where the girl died as a result of multiple wounds. The man was shot in the torso area and is in serious condition, medical officials said.
Earlier on April 18, it was reported that an unknown gunman opened fire in the U.S. city of Austin, Texas, killing three people.
