A puppy with six paws and two tails was born in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It was reported by CNN on Wednesday, February 24.

The puppy, who was born, is a mixed breed of border collie and Australian shepherd. According to the hospital’s owner, Dr. Tina Neal, the puppy was born along with his eight siblings during a heavy snowstorm. He was brought in for a checkup when the elements subsided. He was given the nickname Skipper.

“The pup has one head and thoracic cavity, but two pelvic areas, two lower urinary tracts, two reproductive systems, two tails and six legs. Skipper also shows signs of a split spine,” the veterinarian said .

Despite these abnormalities, the animal’s organs are in excellent condition, the specialist noted. All his paws move and respond to stimuli. According to doctors, the puppy will need additional physical therapy, as well as help with mobility as he grows older.
