A relative of the Spanish king died of the coronavirus

Relatives of the Spanish King Philip VI Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Parma died of coronavirus at the age of 86 years. This was reported by her brother, Prince Sixtus-Henry of Bourbon-Parma, on Friday, March 27.

“His Royal Highness Sixt-Henrikh Bourbon reports that on Thursday, March 26, 2020, his sister Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Parma and Bourbon-Bousset died at the age of 86 years in Paris, a victim of the coronavirus COVID-19,” according to a message on his Facebook.

The funeral will take place on March 27.

Sixtus-Henrikh and Maria Teresa of Bourbon-Parma belong to the younger branch of the Spanish royal family. Their father, Javier of Bourbon-Parma, claimed the Spanish throne in the 1970s.
