A scientist who studied coronavirus was killed in the U.S.

Professor Bin Liu, who studied coronavirus infection, was killed in his own home in the United States. The alleged scientist’s killer was also found dead near the crime scene. People wrote about it May 5, referring to the police of the city of Pittsburgh, the university which worked as a microbiologist.

It is reported that a 37-year-old Chinese native studied the cellular mechanisms underlying the spread of the disease COVID-19, caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, and the principles of complications that can lead to the infection. The Professor’s colleagues claim that just before his death Liu was on the verge of an important discovery.

A law enforcement representative said that the body of the scientist was discovered on May 2 with multiple gunshot wounds. The crime scene looked unusual, so police put forward a version of the staged nature of the crime.
