A scuba diver was the victim of a shark attack in Australia

A shark attacked a 20-year-old diver on Saturday, July 4, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. This was reported by ABC News, citing statements from local authorities.

Despite the efforts of doctors, a young man died on shore from his wounds. It is reported that a shark grabbed the diver’s legs.

The mayor of the village where the attack took place expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.

According to the TV channel, the attack took place near the place where a hunter killed a large white shark in April 2020.

A total of four people were killed this year as a result of the shark attack in Australia, according to statistics of the channel.

On June 7, the death of a 60-year-old surfer was reported after a shark attack off the coast of the city of Kingscliff in New South Wales on Australia’s east coast.
