Adidas company released a capsule collection Maternity. It presents clothes for sports activities during pregnancy, which were designed taking into account the physical features of the female body.
The capsule includes T-shirts, leggings with high elastic waistband and loose cut hoodies. All the things are made of recycled materials (some of them using special PRIMEGREEN material). Non-cotton fabrics are created with adidas AEROREADY technology, which allows your skin to stay dry during your workout.
Aimee Arana, CEO of adidas Global Training, believes the collection is particularly important for promoting inclusivity.
“It has been proven time and time again that working out has a positive impact not only on physical health, but also on mental health. We believe that sports can be available to everyone: pregnancy should not force expectant mothers to leave the usual way of maintaining good health. Our new collection helps take another important step toward inclusivity.” Aimee Arana
