Adidas is thinking about selling Reebok

The German company Adidas is considering selling the Reebok brand. This was announced on Thursday, October 22, Bloomberg reports with reference to the source.

According to him, the final decision on whether to start the sale process, Adidas intends to make in the coming months. The internal brand evaluation is at an early stage.

Adidas has not yet commented on this information, reports RNS.

It is noted that during the coronavirus pandemic Reebok was hit harder than Adidas. Its sales in the second quarter of this year fell by 42%, while Adidas’ revenue fell by 33%.

Adidas acquired the American Reebok in 2005. The deal totaled $3.8 billion.
