African swine fever is spreading throughout Germany. The first case was revealed about a week ago. So far, five dead boars have been found. The hearth occurred in Brandenburg on the border with Poland. Under the threat of infection are about 13 thousand pigs.
On factories and farms has a special sanitary regime. In the forests there are exercises to clean up the affected lands. Farmers are afraid of the consequences of the epidemic. Some of them are unable to harvest – access to the field is closed. Livestock breeders are unable to stock up on straw for pets – this will affect the conditions of the livestock.
