American actor Allen Garfield, known for his role in the movie “Ninth Gate”, died of coronavirus at the age of 80 years. This was reported by his colleague Ronee Blakely on his Facebook page on Wednesday, April 8.
Garfield died in a hospital in California on Tuesday, April 7. His death was also confirmed by Sister Lois Gurwitz speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.
During his career, he participated in more than 100 films and TV shows, played in films such as Roman Polanski (“Ninth Gate”), Woody Allen (“Bananas”), Francis Ford Coppola (“Cotton Club”, “Conversation”).
