Belarusian ambassador to Prague was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic because of the emergency landing of Ryanair aircraft in Minsk.
The day before, Ryanair airline plane, routed from Athens to Vilnius, grounded in Minsk airport due to a bomb threat. The report was not confirmed.
Roman Protasevich, ex-head of Telegram channel Nexta, recognized extremist in Belarus, was on board the plane. He was detained after landing.
Western countries harshly criticized Minsk, while the EU promised to consider imposing sanctions against the Belarusian authorities.
