American destroyer Porter headed for the Black Sea

The American missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) is headed for the Black Sea. This was announced by the sixth U.S. operational fleet on April 13.

“It will work with the Black Sea partner countries to ensure safety at sea,” he said. The ship passed the Dardanelles and goes to the Bosporus Strait of Marmara Sea.

The U.S. Navy sailed into the Black Sea in the fall of 2019, when it was intended to demonstrate the commitment of the United States to freedom of navigation and NATO allies. This was stated by the Commander of the American Sixth Fleet, Lisa Franchetti.
