Jade Dodd, a Tennessee resident, complained on her Facebook page that she had obtained a new driver’s license with a picture of an empty chair instead of her portrait.
As CNN explained to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, which was responsible for issuing driving licenses, on August 11, the photo of the chair accidentally got into Dodd’s documents. The department has now corrected the error and issued the girl with the correct photo.
“On Friday, I was at work, and my boss pointed to a chair at his office saying, ‘I thought it was you. I even waved in the morning,” Dodd said.
