The attack on the ammunition depot took place in the Syrian city of Homs. There were explosions near the building, SANA reported Friday, May 1, citing the governor of the province of Talal Barazi.
“Several civilians were injured in the vicinity of the warehouse when the shells exploded,” he said. There is no information yet on who organised the attack.
Earlier Friday, Syrian air defense systems repulsed Israeli attacks in the southern part of the country. The attack caused only material damage and no casualties have been reported.
On April 27, it became known about an Israeli attack on the settlements of Al-Hujeir and Al-Adliya in the Damascus area in Syria.
Three civilians were killed, while four others, including a child, were injured.
