Belarus announced the detention of Russians from PMC “Wagner”

According to journalists, 32 Russians were detained in a sanatorium near Minsk. Another person was detained in the south of Belarus, the publication notes.

The Russian Embassy in Minsk notes that they’ve received no official information about the detention of Russian citizens. According to Ambassador Dmitry Mezentsev, the necessary information will soon be requested from the competent authorities, said TASS.

The day before, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Association of Journalists Boris Horetski reported on the detention of nine media workers near the building of the State Security Committee of Belarus in Minsk. Among them were correspondents of the portal Tut.by, TASS, TV channel “Belsat. Later, the journalists were released from Zavodski police department of Minsk.

In the evening of July 14, actions in support of unregistered presidential candidates were held in Minsk and other Belarusian cities. According to the Interior Ministry, over 250 protesters were detained in Minsk.
