Ben Rhodes’ statement can cost a lot for Joe Biden

Obama’s former deputy national security adviser, Ben Rhodes, said Joe Biden was already talking to foreign leaders as if he were president.

This is considered a violation of Logan’s law, named after the Pennsylvania physician George Logan. The law was signed by US President John Adams on January 30, 1799. Rhodes said this during an interview with MSNBC, in which he tried to criticize Trump:

“We will have a spectacle where the elected president will announce his advisory board. He is going to announce the cabinet secretaries. The center of political gravity in this country and in the world is shifting towards Joe Biden. Foreign leaders are already on the phone with Joe Biden to discuss the agenda they plan to implement January 20,” Rhodes said.

A very similar precedent has happened to General Michael Flynn when the Obama administration accused him of having unauthorized communications with the Russian ambassador.
