Berlin may introduce health passports

Berlin is discussing a plan to introduce health passports (Green Pass). According to the deputy of the Landtag (Chamber of Deputies) Gunnar Lindemann, such plans have the German government at the local and federal level.

In February, according to a YouGov poll (sample unknown), more than half of Germans supported health passports.

However, despite this, thousands of dissatisfied with the anti-coronavirus measures mobilized in the capital city and came out to protest on August 1. As a result, 600 people were detained and one man died.

In France, where “green passports” have become compulsory since 21 July, demonstrations also ended in scuffles. Actions against forced vaccinations against coronavirus and health passports took place in Switzerland and Italy.
