Protests in Germany began after a debate in the Bundestag over a bill that would legalize the introduction of rules supposedly to control the epidemic: forced testing, abolition of housing, distance, wearing masks in public places, and closure of stores and restaurants.
Berlin police forcefully dispersed a protest against virus rules
German police used water cannons to disperse demonstrators protesting in central Berlin against restrictions imposed by the coronavirus.
Despite calls from law enforcement officials, the protesters refused to wear masks or observe the safety distance prescribed by the regulations. Some protesters began throwing lighted firecrackers at the police.
