U.S. President Joe Biden caused concern among viewers and users of the Web for the pose the head of state took during the broadcast of CNN on October 27.
Responding to the host’s question about the U.S. administration’s steps to curb rising fuel prices, Biden clenched his hands into fists and raised his elbows to chest level. He maintained this position for about 20 seconds.
Some users thought Biden was wearing an “imaginary jet pack” behind his back, Opindia reported.
On August 21, during a press conference on Afghanistan, Joe Biden repeatedly misspelled the name of the Qatari capital. Then he answered a question from a reporter in the audience with information that contradicted the Pentagon. At the end of the briefing, he forgot the first part of the question he was asked.
On July 12, the American leader sent a telegram of congratulations to President Milo Dukanovic of Montenegro, mistaking him for Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic.
Biden also made reservations in his speech about relations with Russia. He confused vaccination with escalation, and also mispronounced Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Joe Biden, 78, became the oldest president in U.S. history. His health has repeatedly been the subject of discussion.
