Biden offered to invest $2 trillion in clean energy conversion

The most probable candidate for the post of the president of the USA from Democratic party Joe Biden in case of his victory at elections plans to achieve investment of $2 trillion for the four-year period in transfer of energy of the country on ecologically pure sources. This was reported by the Bloomberg agency on Monday, July 13.

According to him, the former vice president aims to fully convert the United States to clean energy by 2035.

It is noted that Biden also supports the plan of the Democrat leader in the Senate of Congress Chuck Schumer, which provides incentives for the exchange of conventional cars in the U.S. for electric cars, as well as cars with hybrid engines.

On July 7, the former vice president outlined his own program to improve the U.S. supply chain and supply chain, including by limiting imports from Russia and China. The politician believes it is appropriate to increase spending on goods and services produced in his home country by $400 billion within four years.

The National Congress of the Democratic Party of the USA, at which Biden should be named as a candidate for the highest state post, was postponed because of the pandemic to August 17-20. It will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The US presidential election is scheduled for November 3.
