Biden was reported on school shooting with victims in Michigan

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday, November 30, that the U.S. President Joe Biden was reported to him about a school shooting in Michigan. This was reported by the NBC television network.

“Presidential Assistant for Homeland Security Jake Sullivan informed Biden about the shooting in Oxford, Michigan,” she said.

Psaki also stressed that the U.S. leader is monitoring the situation and getting regular updates.

“I worry with all my heart for families going through the unimaginable grief of losing a loved one,” the network quoted Biden as saying during a visit to a technical school in Minnesota.

The shooting at Oxford High School in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, happened on Tuesday. The accident left three people dead and eight injured.

The suspect, a 15-year-old student, fired between 15 and 20 shots from a semiautomatic pistol. He is currently in custody.

It is noted that all three of those killed are high school students. They are a 6-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl. All the wounded, including the teacher, were taken to hospital with various injuries.
