Biden will not create a presidential commission to investigate the Capitol assault

The Axios portal with reference to the White House press secretary Jen Psaki reported that the US President Joe Biden will not interfere in the investigation of the Capitol assault which took place on January 6, 2021 in Washington. The US leader does not intend to create a presidential commission.

However, the head of the White House may support the creation of a special committee in the House of Representatives of the US Congress. The country’s Justice Department has already estimated $1.5 million in damages caused to the Capitol in Washington during the storming. The prosecutor’s office will seek damages from each offender in this case.
