The coronavirus pandemic is likely to end in 2022. This was stated by Microsoft founder Bill Gates in an interview with Fox News on September 20.

According to him, he expects the American vaccine against new infection to be approved by early 2021. If this happens, by the summer of 2021 the U.S. will begin to return to normal life, and in 2022 the pandemic will decline.

“During 2021, we will be able to reduce these numbers if we act globally,” Gates said.

The Gates Foundation currently provides $650 million to fight the coronavirus. This is the largest donation among independent foundations.

On September 18, it was reported that the U.S. will distribute 100 million doses of coronavirus vaccine by January 2021, and by April every American will be able to fight the new infection.

According to Worldometer, the country ranks first in the number of detected coronavirus cases.
