Blogger has created a macOS Big Sur handheld computer

YouTube blogger Ike T. Sanglay, Jr. under the nickname iketsj has created a minicomputer running macOS Big Sur. The device can be connected to a monitor and used on the go.

The computer is based on the LattePanda Alpha SBC with an Intel Core m3 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 240 GB of RAM with a pre-installed OS. The body itself is 3D-printed and the buttons and keyboard are rubberized. Three USB-A ports, one USB-C, a mini-jack and Ethernet are available. The blogger published the entire process of assembly and first launch on his channel.

Naturally, such a gadget is of no practical use. In addition, the cost of the parts exceeds the price of a much more powerful Mac mini on the M1.
