British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his bride Carrie Symonds had a son on Wednesday, April 29. This was reported by Sky News with reference to a representative of the head of the British government.
“Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his bride Carrie Symonds announced the birth of “a healthy boy in a hospital in London earlier this morning,” he said.
The representative also added that the mother and the newborn are feeling very well.
In late February, Johnson and Symonds announced their engagement and that they were expecting a baby.
The 55-year-old prime minister is already the father of five children, four of whom were married to Marina Wheeler and one was born out of wedlock to art historian Helen McIntyre. For his 31-year-old sweetheart, this will be his first child.
Johnson officially announced his divorce from Wheeler after 25 years of marriage in September 2018. It was noted that the reason for the breakup was Johnson’s affair.
