Bronze medalist of European Championship-1996 Bruno Martini died

Former French goalkeeper Bruno Martini died at the age of 58. According to RMC Sport, last week the ex-footballer got into intensive care due to a heart attack. Doctors failed to save him.

Martini played for the French national team from 1987 to 1996 and took part in the European Championships in 1992 and 1996. At the club level, the goalkeeper played in Auxerre, Nancy and Montpellier.

After completing his playing career in 1999, Martini worked as a goalkeeper coach for the French national team and the junior team of France.
