Bulgarian Air Force fighter crashed in the Black Sea

A Bulgarian Air Force fighter plane has crashed in the Black Sea and the search for the pilot is underway. The Bulgarian newspaper Sega reported on Wednesday, June 9, referring to the military department of the republic.

The crash occurred while the MiG-29 fighter was performing a training task within the framework of the exercise “Shabla 21”.

Communication with the pilot was lost last night. A search and rescue operation is now underway.
