It is noted that the scale of the rescue operation is currently unclear.
According to the local news portal HawaiiNewsNow, there were two people aboard the plane at the time of the crash. According to the cited data from the Department of Transportation of the state, the crash happened around 01.45 local time about three kilometers from the airport of Kalaeloa.
It is reported that the U.S. Coast Guard sent a boat, a helicopter and a C-130 aircraft to the crash site.
