Sotheby’s auction house sold a bracelet of the famous company Cartier at online trading for a record amount of $1.34 million, according to Scottish Financial News.
Initially, the Tutti Frutti bracelet was valued at $600-800 thousand. The name of the buyer is not mentioned.
According to Barron’s portal, the bracelet is decorated with sapphires, emeralds, rubies and diamonds, as well as onyx and black enamel. It is a classic piece of Art Deco jewelry.
The auction house notes that such jewelry is often bought just to possess or exhibit it, but this Cartier bracelet can really be worn. However, the previous owner says that the jewelry was worn only once.
