In the conditions of coronavirus pandemic it is necessary to wear a mask indoors and outdoors if it is impossible to observe a safe distance. This is stated in the updated recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

If citizens are unable to maintain a safe distance of 1 m (three steps), they, including children over 12 years of age, should wear a mask, even if the room is well ventilated.

Children under five should not wear masks, and if a child is between six and 11 years old, the decision should be made on a case-by-case basis.

WHO recommends wearing the mask in all rooms with inadequate ventilation.

According to recommendations, masks should be worn in all medical institutions and in all rooms, including cafes and staff rooms.
