Chuck Norris denied participating in protests in Washington
American actor Chuck Norris has denied participating in protests in Washington, D.C., after a supporter of incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump posted a photo with a man who looks like the artist. The actor wrote the rebuttal on his Twitter page on Wednesday, January 13.
Earlier in the day, Norris’ participation in the protests was denied by his manager. He stated that it was not the artist, but his wannabe, and noted that the actor remains in Texas with his family.
The photo, which shows a man wearing a Trump 2020 cap that looks like the 80-year-old actor, first appeared on Instagram, but became popular after it was shared on Twitter.
I recently learned there was a Chuck Norris lookalike at the DC Capitol riots. It wasn’t me and I wasn’t there. There is no room for violence of any kind in our society. I am and always will be for Law and Order.
