Crew Dragon with the astronauts on board started to the ISS

Crew Dragon with two NASA astronauts on board launched to the ISS on Falcon 9 on Saturday, May 30. The launch is broadcast live on the space agency’s YouTube channel.

For the U.S., this is the first manned flight since 2011. The mission is very important for future NASA flights and strategies.

At present, the flight is in normal mode. Both rocket stages have successfully docked off.

On board Crew Dragon are astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Benken. The ship should dock to the ISS on May 31, Sunday.

In manned missions, NASA is working with SpaceX and Boeing. Each company has created and tested its own spacecraft in unmanned mode.
