Tomas Petříček, head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, was involved in an accident. This was reported on Wednesday, May 6, the publication iDES.cz.
According to the newspaper, the accident occurred last night on Nuselskaya Street near the official’s house. It is reported that Petrzicek was driving a taxi, whose driver lost control and crashed into parked cars.
The taxi driver was killed as a result of the incident. Petrziczek himself was not injured in the accident.
The minister expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased driver and said that he and his wife are going to order a memorial service at a local temple on May 7.
