The National Committee of the Democratic Party of the United States postponed the party congress due to the coronavirus, where it is planned to nominate a presidential candidate in the November elections, reported the Politico newspaper on Thursday, April 2.

According to him, the congress, which was scheduled for July 13-16 in Milwaukee, will be postponed until August 17.

According to the publication, the Democrats’ primary leader Joe Biden has already called for the congress to be postponed.

The U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 3, 2020.
