Denmark allowed the operation of Nord Stream 2 on its shelf

The Danish Energy Agency has granted Nord Stream 2 AG permission to operate the Nord Stream-2 pipeline on the Danish continental shelf. The announcement was published on the agency’s website on Thursday, October 1.

The permit is valid under a number of safety conditions. Thus, the pipeline may be launched only after at least one part of it has passed the tests and received the appropriate permit. At the same time, the conditions of the construction permit issued on October 30, 2019 are preserved in terms of operation.
