On the verge of divorce, the 40-year-old reality star and 43-year-old rapper tried to save their marriage, but to no avail. Insiders revealed that the couple stopped attending marriage counseling, finding it useless. Now Kanye West is actively consulting with his lawyers, and Kim has been working with star divorce attorney Laura Wasser for weeks. Sources close to the couple insist, “Divorce is inevitable.”

Rumors of serious problems in Kim and Kanye’s relationship have been circulating for months, but friends of the couple assure that the marriage has long been bursting at the seams – even within the Kardashian-Jenner clan are looking forward to ending the protracted drama. Kim has changed a lot in seven years of married life: she created a successful business, started law school and became a mother of four children – 7-year-old North, 5-year-old Seante, 3-year-old Chicago and almost 2-year-old Psalm.

“Kim knows what she wants to do with her life. She wants to continue to live in Los Angeles, create a better environment for her children and focus on her projects. She has become more independent and has lost patience with Kanye’s behavior — his antics, pompous speeches, presidential race and tweets. That love story had long since worn itself out. They adored each other, but they’re too different,” People magazine’s sources noted.

In the summer, West unexpectedly announced that he would run for president of the United States, and during the campaign he did a lot of things – for example, he publicly demanded a divorce and said that he and Kardashian were thinking about an abortion when the star became pregnant with daughter North. It is believed that the rapper was not himself at the time due to another seizure amid bipolar disorder.
