Donald Trump sues Facebook and Twitter

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said that he is suing the IT giants and their founders. The defendants include Facebook, Twitter, Google, and their owners. Trump announced this in a speech in Bedminster, New Jersey.

He said a class-action lawsuit against the aforementioned companies, as well as their CEOs Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, and Jack Dorsey, will be filed with the help of America First Policy Institute.

“We are asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to immediately stop social media, the illegal shameful censorship of the American people, and that is what they are doing, we demand an end to shady account blocking, silencing and blacklisting,” Trump said.

After the Capitol storming in Washington on January 6, Trump was permanently “banned” from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
