Dozens of armed Americans rallied outside the Michigan legislature

Dozens of American citizens with guns came to the Michigan state parliament building in Lansing. This was reported by TV channel MSNBC on Sunday, January 17.

According to the TV channel, the situation near the administration building is calm. There were dozens of people near the Parliament, carrying firearms, possession of which is permitted in the state.

It is also reported that the police cordoned off the perimeter of the building, but there are no restrictions on access to the nearby lawn. The situation is being monitored by the National Guard, who have stopped nearby in jeeps and armored vehicles, and helicopters are circling in the sky.

Security has now been beefed up in some U.S. cities due to the January 20 inauguration of President-elect Joseph Biden and last week’s unrest in Washington.
