Eurovision participant Claude Lombard died in Paris

Belgian singer, songwriter and dubbing artist Claude Lombard, who represented her country at the international musical contest “Eurovision” died September 20 in Paris. She was 76 years old. This is reported in the obituary published on her Facebook page. The cause of death is not specified.

Lombard was born in Brussels in 1945. She brought worldwide fame with her performance at the “Eurovision” in London in 1968, where she performed the song Quand tu reviendras, taking seventh place.

In 1973 the artist performed at the contest again, but already as a backup singer in the number of the duo Nicole & Hugo. Then the creative team took last place.

In the 1970s, Lombard moved to France and co-wrote a musical. She had a successful career as a voice-over and dubbing artist, mostly in cartoons and anime.
