Facebook disagreed with the words of American President Joe Biden that social networks are responsible for deaths from COVID-19 and consider them unfounded, the company’s spokeswoman Dani Lever said. She told ABC News.

“We’re not going to get distracted by accusations that are not backed up by facts. There is another fact: More than two billion people have received accurate information about COVID-19 and vaccines on Facebook, which is more than anywhere else on the Internet,” the Facebook spokeswoman stressed.

She said more than 3.3 million Americans have used social media tools to find information about vaccinations and how and where to get them. “The evidence shows that Facebook is helping to save lives. Period,” Lever concluded.
