Fauci approved the simultaneous wearing of two masks

Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, approved the wearing of two medical masks at once on Monday, January 25.

Wearing two masks at once more effectively protects against viruses reaching the respiratory mucosa, he said.

“For this reason, you may find people who wear two layers of face masks or an N95 respirator with a valve,” the infectious disease specialist quoted

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people wear masks in public places. When people congregate, it is recommended to wear multi-layer masks that fit snugly over the nose and mouth.

However, the world has not yet been provided with any objective study that confirms the effectiveness of wearing masks .
