Italian FC Inter announced its withdrawal from the Super League. This was announced by the team’s press service on Wednesday, April 21.
“The club is no longer part of the Super League project. We always strive to give the fans the best soccer experience possible. Innovation and inclusivity have been part of our DNA since our founding. Our connection with all stakeholders to improve the soccer industry will never change,” the statement said.
“Inter believes that soccer, like any other industry, must be interested in continually improving its competitions within the principle of financial sustainability in order not to lose the interest of fans of all ages from around the world, the team said.
“The soccer club hopes to continue working with institutions and all stakeholders for the future of the sport we all love,” the team’s press office concluded.
