The first footage from the French Le Havre hostage site was published on the web on August 6.

A video made by a journalist on 76actu website shows a bank branch on Strasbourg Boulevard, where an unknown man is holding hostages, and the roads leading to it are cordoned off by the police.

There are at least five hostages in the building.

At present, a police cordon is placed around the bank. Special forces are also on their way to the building. Firemen and ambulances have already arrived at the site.

Earlier that day, it was reported that hostages were being taken in a bank building in the centre of Le Havre. According to some reports, the man is armed with a gun and may also have explosives.
