Five people injured in missile strike in Afghanistan

A rocket hit the Kunar provincial administration building in the city of Asadabad in eastern Afghanistan, injured five people.

The missile hit a hall where a Quran recitation contest was being held. It was reported by TOLOnews on April 26 with reference to the words of the provincial governor Iqbal Said. He specified that among the wounded were three students and two employees of the administration.

It is not known where the rocket was fired from.

At the moment there is a confrontation between government forces and fighters of the radical Taliban movement in the territory of Afghanistan who managed to take over the territory in rural areas of the country and launched an attack on large cities.
