Former French national team goalkeeper Bruno Martini is hospitalized after cardiac arrest

Former French soccer goalkeeper Bruno Martini has been hospitalized for cardiac arrest and respiratory failure, Eurosport portal reported on Monday, October 12.

It is specified that Bruno Martini was found in the morning in the parking lot of the training center of the soccer club “Montpellier” – 58-year-old former goalkeeper is the deputy head of this institution.

The specialists were resuscitated on the spot and then hospitalized in serious condition, writes “Sport-Express”. He is undergoing intensive therapy.

Bruno Martini was a participant of the 1992 and 1996 European Championships. He was a member of the French national soccer team in the period from 1987 to 1996. He finished his sports career in 1999 as a member of Montpellier, for which he played four seasons.
