Former NBA player Clifford Robinson died

The former player of the club of the National Basketball Association (NBA) “Portland” Clifford Robinson died at the age of 53 years, the club’s website informs.

The cause of the basketball player’s death is not specified.

Robinson spent a significant part of his career in “Portland”, with whom he twice reached the final playoffs. He also played for “Phoenix”, “Detroit”, “Golden State”, “New Jersey” (now – “Brooklyn”).

In regular NBA championships, Robinson played a total of 1380 games, gaining an average of 14.2 points, in the playoffs – 141 games (an average of 10.3 points). In 1994, he participated in the NBA Stars Match.
