Former New York Mayor Cuomo stripped of his 2020 Emmy Award

Former New York City Mayor Andrew Cuomo has been stripped of his 2020 Emmy Award. The award was given for live press conferences about the pandemic situation.

The governor’s name and information will be removed from International Television Academy materials. Cuomo lost his post over allegations of harassment. Claims against the head of the city were brought by 11 women. The governor resigned on August 24.
