French minister panicked in public over a forgotten mask

French Industry Minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher forgot her mask in the car and ran after the vehicle in panic. This was reported in the Twitter account of Marianne on Wednesday, July 15.

The politician arrived to celebrate Bastille Day in Paris on July 14. The woman left the showroom with a smile, but when Pannier-Runaschen realized she had forgotten her medical mask in her car, she ran after the vehicle. Once the Minister had made it clear what the problem was, the escorts quickly provided her with personal protective equipment.

Compliance with the mask was a must for all visitors to the celebration. Their number was also limited in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

The day before, the President of the Republic, Emmanuelle Macron, announced that France was showing signs of a resurgence of the coronavirus epidemic. However, the President stressed that this time the country had prepared for a new wave of disease.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic, more than 30 thousand infected with coronavirus have died in France since the beginning of the pandemic. A total of 172,377 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.
