Gigi Hadid wrote an open letter to the media asking them to hide her daughter Hi’s face in photos

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik became parents for the first time in September 2020. They quite rarely show the baby girl. Fans still haven’t seen little Hi’s face, although Gigi did post a few photos with her daughter on her Instagram.

On Tuesday, the model urged paparazzi, media and fan clubs to cover her daughter Hi’s face in photos if she was suddenly in the camera lens. She called her post “a letter from her mom.” Gigi said she wanted Hi to see this world “without the stress and media circus” that the media creates.

Hadid’s message reads, “As our child grows, we have to realize that we can’t protect her from everything like we wanted to and could when she was smaller. I’m writing all this to tell the paparazzi, the press and our favorite fans: you know we intentionally never showed our daughter’s face on social media. We want her to be able to choose the moment she wants to show herself to the world when she reaches adulthood. We want her to live a normal life without worrying about the public image she once didn’t choose for herself.”

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik hope that fans will hear and respect their wishes.
